It is truly unfortunate that most people who have "religion" do not know the history of their faith. They are like the referred "sheep" that follow without thinking. A closed/narrow mind is usually a major asset to them since their belief is always the only correct way to go. If the world would only accept the fact that everyone has the right to believe, or not, and not try to shove it on to others it would be heaven on earth. But then what would happen to the greed, power and control ego of these religions?

Kindness,Respect and Solidarity is my belief..and i practice the use of common sense and practical thinking. My emotions are real because they are not embedded in any religious fervour. My kindness is real because i do not show love or kindness towards other people in order to live according to religion or to score points with a religion.
I am always faced with decisions in my life and i believe i deal with it to the best of my ability and with a mediocre of consideration for people around me because my parents brought me up well.
Am i satisfied?Yes i am because i know i am real.

I'm a Catholic. I am raising my kids as Catholics because I believe that it gives them strong family ties and traditional ties to history. I read about the history of the Church all the time. I understand a lot of the practices and beliefs because I quite honestly don't agree with some of them. I think they have become a lot more judgemental and less compassionate in the last decade because of the very conservative papacy. I don't agree with their stand on birth control and women not being priests, but leaving the Church will not change this, and I plan on sticking it out and supporting the community service, attending mass and reconciliation, etc, but I am not embarrassed or scared to be outspoken about what I see is their mistaken policies.

I knew I'd get a lot of thumbs down because people think I'm being hypocritical? unloyal? whatever. I just answered the question honestly, fact is, it's just the tradition of religion that I find warmth...I'm actually an atheist.

I am Roman Catholic. I converted about 10 years ago. I was raised Methodist.

I know quite a bit about my religion, but I'm still learning and know there is much more.

To know more, I read books, websites, ask questions. I watch EWTN.

Yes, I am very satisfied. The Eucharist and the sacraments give access to God's grace and mercy.

I classify myself as a Satanic Pagan. As it is "my religion", I'm satisfied with it as a means for continually integrating new knowledge into a spiritually affirming worldview. If it wasn't, I'd shift my religion.

If you'd like to discuss paganism further, feel free to contact me. You would only get my view, but it'd be a frank and open discussion.

All the best,

Lazarus

I do not believe in Christianity, I'm not Muslim, not a Buddhist or Hindu. I believe in things that can scientificly be explained and that the world is being destroyed by the ignorance of human kind. The way people live in industrialized countries isn't acceptable and there's so many people in the world suffering all their lives. Would a God tolerate that?

I believe in myself and things that can be proven.

Judaism and... there's so much to learn that a lifetime wouldn't be enough. I am not satisfied with my knowledge but i am with the religion itself. Actually it's more like a life style.

Islam--I Love it. I believe there is no God but Allah(SWT) and Mohammed (peace be upon him) is the last messenger of Allah(SWT). I believe in everything in the Quran and everything said by the prophet (peace be upon him) himself. Some practices include prayer, giving of Zakat (charity), Fasting, Journey to Mecca and everyting given in the Quran and by the Prophet (peace be upon him)

I am pagen, whitch means in christian terms, That I am not a christian. I believe that a very strong living force is around us. and that god( not jesus) is everywhere too. if you need help just ask, but don't be greedy or want to harm anyone anyway. To ask for something that will harm someone will cause it to come back on you(karma)
