Most of my friends started dating when they were 12, but I personally thought that it was too young. I'm 15 now, and I think its a good age, but I wanted other peoples' opinions?

You are old enough to date. I started dating when I was 12. I started doing group outings but by my freshman year in highschool I started going on dates alone with my boyfriend. I would advice to wait aslong as possible to have sex. There is nothing wrong with being a virgin when your other friends are not. You will appreciate that when you get older. Don't worry about everyone else. You will know when you are ready to date. And if you have sex make sure you use protection.

I think 15 is a perfect age to start dating. Basically, the best way to determine is when you feel ready, and it sounds like you are. Under the age of 14, "dating" or "going out" is usually someone you are with at school and talk to on the phone and occassionally see on the weekends. That to me, really isn't dating. At your age, at least you have a later curfew, maybe a date that drives, and more maturity. Hope this helps you out. :)

You should start dating when you basically get feelings for someone. But age wise, 13-14 is probably a good time to start (Although being a sixteen year old I wouldn't date anyone younger than 15)

15 ... that's the perfect age , in my opinion ... coz if you start earlier then you'll heart be broken and if you start later, you'll be soo naive coz you don't have any previous experiences ...
i started dating when i was 15 and i'm telling you it taught me a lot about how guys think , about what to do and what not to do with ur bf .. but let me tell you something , when i was 15 , i thought that every guy i'm dating is THE ONE .. plz don't repeat my mistake .. it doesn't mean that you can't find your perfect match when you're young .. however , give yourself a chance to see other guys and to discover what are you really looking for in a guy .. after that , you'll find the right guy sooner than you think ... good luck

That is a good age, but don't go getting yourself stuck into a relationship for awhile. Enjoy the young years, and get all of that playing out of your system before you settle to one guy and make plans for the future.

Also, don't fall for the bull that guys will tell you to get you to have se# with them. They will even swear that they love you, then leave you. When the time comes that you feel ready, make sure that you are protected from pregnancy and disease.

Have a great time, and remember that you are only young once in your life. Make the most of it, you can't get it back once it is gone!!

as a mother to two teens... My son (15) has yet to ask permission to date. My daughter (who is 12) has been on "dates" already. Our version of dating is us bringing her and her boy of the month to the movies, and sitting one row (directly) behind them. Everyone is different and when you feel ready you should really talk to a parent and both decide together what your idea of dating is and if there are any objections. Hope I helped :)

i think the age that a girl should start dating depends on where her mind state is. If she is immature and wreckless then im sorry to say she prolly will be taken advantage of so its to the parents best concern to make that decision carefully and know their child before just letting them go in to the world
