wats the worst that can happen to a seller if they dont send the item. ive asked this question before but no1 answerd it properly ?! so im getting straight to the point

It depends who the buyer is. If, for example, you take the money and run, and paypal doesn't help them out, then you better believe they can have your local police dept. knocking on your door. It probably won't happen if you sold them a pair of socks, but if you sold them a ps3 or a car, they can take legal action. Most police departments have internet crime units now. The most important thing is communication. If for some reason you can't send it, let them know and work it out. Feedback is a voluntary system to give people an idea who they are dealing with. It's not even close to the "worst that could happen."

If you have properly reported this transaction to ebay. The absolute worse thing to happen would be the seller would lose the rights to conduct business on ebay. But this probably won't happen unless the seller has a history of doing this kind of thing.

In the future pay through pay-pal so you will have more protection.

The seller will be restricted and/or suspended. They'll get negative feedback.. A lot f them, and they'll not be able to do business on eBay anymore. First because they are suspended, and second because of the feedback score and comments that will be seen on their page.
