What is going on with our America?

Question

1) We can't take care our elders
2) We are neglecting our children
3) We don't want to take care of our sick if they don't have medical insurance
4) I am not sure whether we have any moral and values any more
5) We don't have any respect for our intellectuals except for those self centered, greedy rich and bankers
6) No compassion, passion & care for other human beings. Where ever you go it is "me, me, me...
7) It is only your money not your education, manner, character or humanity what matters here in America
8) No body care how you get it, it is how much have what every body see..
9) To the most part kindness, politness and honesty is considred as a weakness or as a foolishness
10) You don't get job because you have BA, MA/MS, Phd or Scientist, you get it if you are affilated with powerful political organization like Rebuplican... , what is going on my fellow Americans?

Things seem to be changing and not for the good. I wish we could all work together to make this World a better place to live in. We need World Peace too.

Cool down my friend.There are many parts of the world where mere existence on daily basis is a full blown battle.To them America is kind of a dream land or may be a Heaven.What you mentioned are typically symptoms of a capitalist society marching ahead on the road to prosperity and development.To deal with the attendant problems of such nature,the world has to re do it's social sciences and a lot is being done.As the most developed economy and also as the largest functional democracy in the world,America has to lead the rest.Think on those lines and your resentment shall subside.I may not be an American but I do admire it's contribution towards peace and prosperity for the lesser fortunate nations.You being a worthy citizen of that country has all the reasons to feel proud and work for sorting and solving problems, the likes of which you have mentioned in your question.God speed.

I agree with you that there are problems. I think they are all a test..I don't know what you believe in but I think everything is a test and that's why things are so complicated. However your not looking on the bright side. There are good people in the world. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes. Also there are reasons behind why some people are the way they are. One simple act of kindness can go a long way.

well you can thank your local presidents and government as a whole for this. they pass laws and bills on everything no matter what it is so THEY reap the benefits. and just plain old retarded people with no heart or soul. welcome to hell my friend. we are in it. ADDED- we also like to keep peace by having an ongoing war in iraq. hmmmmm.. we try to help others countrys with poverty and hunger, but yet we have all this food and millions of americans starve everyday... hmmm. we are the richest country on this planet , yet our healthcare system is 37th of all the countries... hmmmm think about it...
