It depends on her personality and that of her new owners. She should settle down well with the right people.

I had to rehome a cat when I had to travel overseas, he took about two weeks before he was bossing his new owners about very happily.

It depends on her personality, but she will suffer and pine for you.Think of how you would feel if after 10 years of depending on and loving someone, all of a sudden you were sent away without explanation.Because your dog will not understand why you are leaving her,the best thing you can do is find someone whom the dog really seems to like, and gradually let her spend more and more time with them. That way,it won't be such a shock to her when you leave her.I don't understand people who "re-home " their dogs, especially old ones.Would you "re-home" your child? I think not.Of course it is up to you,and your circumstances may require that you find your dog a new home, but I wouldn't dream of doing it to mine, especially an elderly one.To me,an animal is for life, just like a child.

it really depends on how long she was in the other home. if it was quite a while it could take up to a month and a half. It usually takes about two-three weeks, as long as her owner is there with her comforting her, she should be ok

It depends on the suitability of her new owners and her new environment, to be honest. If it's better than what she's been used to (no offence) it could be a matter of days, but months is possible.
