1g of pure vitamin D3 is 40 000 000 (40x10 raised to 6) International Units (IU), or in other words, one IU is 0.025 μg (microgram).
1 milligram=40 000 IU.
1 microgam=40 IU.
0.25 microgram=10 IU.
Note:- 1 microgram =1000th part of 1 milligram.
