that has symptoms of fever/cold that won't go away (its been three days now and his Bday is on Sat and I really want him to be better) anyone???

That trip to the doctor is the most important thing. The symptoms of cold and fever could be a lot of other things and some of them could be quite serious. Take him to the doctor and find out what is wrong. If he isn't well for his birthday have a special party or something when he is. Yahoo answers is probably not the best place for medical advice.

Even tho i would love to give u some advice on what to give the child,i feel the need to inform u that children are not like us adults or teenagers do not give the child any medicine unless its been prescribed by a doctor,your child my have an allergic reaction to certain medicine/chemicals used in the making of the medicine that u do not know about so just take him to a clinic it wont take long and i am sure he will feel better for his Birthday.

straight to outpatients now or drs first thing in morning fevers for longer than 24hrs with no relief frm paracetemol need to be seen by dr theres so many viruses around just too be on the safe side happy bday for saturday little one

Junior Paracetamol - nothing else. Make sure he drinks plenty. You know what they say about a cold - treat it and it lasts a week, don't treat it and it lasts seven days! Just relieve the symptoms really.
He'll have a lovely day on Saturday - he will pick up by then, I promise :)
