(Mark is the biggest jerk! The way he speaks is so pig headed and I assume he has little education. Don't worry about him- he is trash. I reported him anyhow on another question I read. Such a racist pig.)
Anywho- I can totally understand where you are coming from. I immigrated here to the USA from Canada. I met my hubby in Japan- we were both teaching. We lived in Canada for almost a year and immigration there took way too long.. so we went back to Japan to teach and wait for our papers rather than waiting there on only one income. It was very rough. You can do it though. Immigration is faster when you are both out of the country for some odd reason.
In Canada, the M.P. in charge of our case told us that a couple have been living in separate countries just waiting to be together again. They were married even and have been living appart for 4 years. Very sad story he said. Hopefully they are together at last. Be thankful yu aren't trying to get into Canada! lol
As for a sponsor.. just make some friends and once they know you they can vouge for you guilt free.
I wish you all the luck in the world. It isn't as bad as you think- lots of paper work though and a lot of running around. You can do it! OX

Good luck. I really don't think there are too many people that would be willing to sign on as a sponsor for a total stranger. Perhaps you could ask a relative or get a second job.

To sponsor him means to take him in, support him, be responsible for what he does. Who is going to do that for a stranger? Why don't you move to where he is?
