Fort Hood Texas..... What memories.
Hot and Humid. Thats what I remember. Bring sun screen and short pants. Also bring a positive attitude. In 100 plus degree weather with high humidity, you need to stay positive more than anything else.
PS... I thank you for your service in todays ARMY.

NCO leadership school Army Variety Fort Hood, Texas.
Hot humid = salt talbets you can get them at CVS.
Snake leggings just in case or good pair of cowboy boots.
Insect repellent
Video Professor Spanish course if you don't know Spanish.
And if you are out driving on base at night watch out for those M1A3 they like to drive around at night without lights. Several bad accidents have happened involving tanks and cars at night.

You do d&c every day. After you eat you go outside and march each other around. Every morning for first week you practice perfecting the art of the extended rectangular formation and pt. Days are spent going over policies, leadership topics, and counseling techniques. You will complete a self correcting land nav course, pt test, and leadership evaluation during mout ex. Pretty easy course. Just extremely boring and most of the stuff they teach is all about the fake army and not the one we actually serve in.
