Beer dates back to ancient times.

For example beer was a staple of the ancient Egyptians diet, however the beer they had was much more of a soupy porridge consistency product than the beer we know today. Also hops (which are the primary flavoring agent for beer and give it its unique bitter taste) did not exist back then. They are a more modern innovation.

I'm sure he would because remember that fermenting was one of the few ways they had to preserve food back then.

He was a man just like any of us that had the odd beer, but he was great at partys for he would just wave his hand over a glass of beer and there were the kegs and more kegs, now you know why they all loved him.
