i gave myself a tattoo once but what does a real one feel like?

It really depends where on the body the tattoo is done. But for the most part, my best description is a heavy, constant cat scratch that starts to feel like a sunburn.
If it makes my answer seem more valid, I have a half sleeve on one arm, a quarter sleeve on the other, and work on my thigh, calf, ankles, lower/upper back, thigh and much more..

Depends where you get it, some places hurt more than others...Mostly it's almost like an annoying rubbing/itching feeling, until it goes numb(if it's a large one)
I have 7 tattoos and none really "hurt", but I got one on the very top of my foot 2 days ago though and OMG it hurt so bad,lol...

definitely depends on where you get it. I have 2....neither of them hurt too bad. Its an intense Pinching/scratching feeling and the next day the skin feels a little irritated kind of like a sun burn. But, if you get a tattoo over a bone...it hurts a little more.

The one on the back of my shoulder wasnt bad at all. It was like burny feeling and then it would go numb. He would wipe it off and start all over so burny numb burny numb. However, the last one I got on my lower back was more painful but he was doing it wrong and going too deep and not wiping like he was supposed to so I would guess that one was not the norm. It was still bearable and I am a huge wuss!!! If I can do it, anyone can. Hope this helps. Good Luck and God Bless:)

Hi Eye Love, It depends where you are having your tattoo put.Some places hurt more than other like your foot, wrist anyplace that doesn't have a lot of fat well hurt more.I have 6 tats myself and they all hurt but not enough for me to stop from getting them. Lol

I have four and they have all been the same. Small, quick pinpricks and an adrenaline rush, I usually get a hot flash from the rush and then I get sleepy. The outline hurts the worst but the filling in..well by then the rush will have worn off and I am ready to fall asleep while they tat me.

well it feels like lots of lil needles poking u over and over again..but if u get someone good it aint that bad...the long the leave it on like say they are doing a M if they do the whole M with pulling it up it will start buring so bad it will feel like its on fire but if they pull the needle up alot like my guy does, it aint that bad

It feels like a very intense scratching or scraping. The next day, it feels like a bad sunburn.

well it depends on where you get it at because when i got mine it hurt but it is on the lower part of my back so you never know until you get one.
