I highly doubt it. I know someone who recently got married in Mexico and at the airport, he was forced into another room for extra "screening" just because he was carrying flowers. No joke!

No way. Never bring any weapon to Mexico. Don't even have empty brass from a fired cartridge. Don't bring any part of a bullet, or part of a bullet or case that has been fired; even if it is part of jewelry. I wouldn't bring a cutting tool of any kind. Don't even go to that third world sewer. If you bring either weapon you could get a year in a Mexican Prison or more.

Is there anything I shouldn't bring with me?
Do not bring any illegal drugs or weapons of any kind! A Mexican jail is not where you want to end up! A single bullet can put you in jail for 3 years! There are military checkpoints along the highway for our safety and some now have drug-sniffing dogs. If our staff even suspects you have anything illegal we will not hesitate to dump you at a Baja bus station and eliminate you from the ride! We will also publicly humiliate you in front of everyone because of your stupidity. DON'T BRING ANY DOPE, DRUGS, WEAPONS, or AMMO!!

Please read the above paragraph again.

Sure , absolutely if you don't mind spending a few years in the calaboose. Those mexican cop's will hammer the message home fast and hard. The only time you can take any weapon into mexico is for hunting then you must declare it. Then only a long gun. A relative of mine lived in mission,TX he went to progresso to buy prescriptions. When he came back his car was searched by the mexican police . They found two 9MM cartridges. It cost him over a $1000.00 to get out of that jam. Take a wild guess where the dinero went.

I had a stun gun when I drove to Alaska. It was taken at the border of Canada. I don't think you'll be able to keep it and if they fined it with out you telling them about it you could get in to some very hot water.

Nope, about the only Guns you can actually bring to Mexico are Hunting purposes only and even that is restricted itself.

You would need Mexican permits for Hunting Guns too.

No. plain and simple. homeland security allows you as an officer of law to carry your service weapon only! to all 50 states. Borders involve politics and unfortunately nothing can be done yet.
