Yes it is in fact the only true way. It is the only one that involes truth, not fairy tales and nonsense. Not saying it is the only way but certainly the most logical.

It is so "christian" tell people they are going to hell all the time, your various fictitional charecters must be so proud of your love for other humans

The more I study religion the more I find man has worshipped nothing but himself.

No. I experienced God directly when I was seventeen.

Didn't make me religious however, and have several atheist friends, many religious friends (I'm no bigot).

I do hope you aren't one of those "I believe there is no God" atheists that has turned your "atheism" into a religious belief that gives you a mission to convert everyone and totally ignore freedom of religion. I get so tired of missionaries.

Most atheists I've known simply see no reason to believe in God. They have no beliefs one way or the other. They're usually pretty well educated and if it takes their fancy may very well have read the Bible (it is one of the most important documents in Western historical development).

They have no "neediness" to make others convert. They support freedom of religion. They may think that the religious are not quite "all there", but they respect it never-the-less.

Don't tell me you're one of those! That would be sad.

Truth is relative and nothing can claim to be absolutely "true". However there are degrees of falsity and most organized religions are grounded on so many manifest lies (including their common claim to be the "truth") that by comparison atheism is infinitely more honest than most.

It is for me, but some people seem to need answers to everything, so they turn to mythology to provide them. I don't need answers to the wonders of life anymore, I love the wondering.....

There is nothing true about the lie of atheism. God is real.
