I can't believe that Santa Claus exists either. I think that the probability of God existing is about the same as Santa Claus. After all, both of them are immortal mind readers capable of accomplishing miracles.
You should try reading up a bit about Russel's Teapot. It provides an interesting analogy to the belief in God.

As a Christian, there is no actual, tangible proof of God's existence. Science deals specifically with the material and since God is of a spiritual composition, the two do not "cut it".
There is evidence though, of God's existence such as, the existence of Uranium (U232). The half-life or decay point of Uranium is a few thousand years then, it decays into Lead (Pb). If the earth's surface, as we know it were billions of years old, then, why hasn't ALL of the U232 decayed into Lead by now?
Another piece of evidence is what the Paleontologists call the "Big Bang" Explosion, which occurred during the Cambrian phyla or division, of the fossil record. (You will have to do your own looking into this since there is so much data .) Here, is where scientists have concluded the very sudden explosion of the vertebrae of the various animal life just appearing (an explosion), at this diversionary level or phyla. Remember; Darwin taught Evolution to be a gradual emergence - not an explosion. This is some more evidence of God's "hand" in the Creation phase of life. These are only two examples. There are plenty more examples. Scientists confirm these facts; therefore, this evidence makes a very strong case for God's existence.

I definitely can't prove to you the God exists, but I'll share with you what made me a believer.
When I was in 1st grade, I had a sleepover at my friend's house. We were bored when we decided to pray the rosary. (How many first graders do you know that would do that?) We went into her grandma's walk-in closet where it was quiet. We just started praying. About halfway through we both looked up simultaneously and saw a vision of the Virgin Mary. I still remember every detail. It was a beautiful young woman kneeling with us praying. Her hands were folded, and her head was tilted slightly down as to look at the rosary laying on the ground. She was wearing a cloth with the most brilliant shade of blue, and had this light brown hair. It looked a little dirty, but the firgure was absolutely gorgeous. It was slightly transparent. I could see what was behind her; yet, she was completely visible. My friend looked to me and just said, "Do you see that?" And I just shook my head. We were terrified until we started to realize what it actually was. The vision was so stereotypical, but the more I thought about in my later years, if the lady had looked like anything else, we wouldn't have identified with it. It would have been some creepy ghost that enjoyed praying with young children. You may think I'm a complete whackjob. And you know, I very well might be. But I know what I saw, and it has made believing easier for me.
And being atheist is okay too. You don't have to believe, because it is your choice. What is important that you do have morals and principles.
I hope you found this useful.

When you wake up in the a/m. and u r still alive.. then,, u know there is a God.. Then,, when you look outside and see the sun..then there is a God..
When you have clothes to put on, and food to eat...then////
Or, when you didn't think that u were going to have money to buy something and then all of a sudden,, things turned around toward the good.. and it all worked out.. . Then u know that God was helping u out.
I see God when I look at the beach, or a waterfall,,,,,,,,, I get this feel good feeling, and know that life is good, and there is a God... O,, also, when I see my children~ I need no other proof!

First it is by experiencing Him. the only way you are going to know that God really exist is to pray to God and ask Him into your life through His Son, Jesus, Ask Him to reveal Himself to you because you want to know for sure. I guarantee you that if you do this with an opened heart you will experience something you never experienced before. You will finally understand why millions of people are turning to the Lord every day. Think about this: Christians are the largest believe in the world. More people are turning to Christianity than any other religion. If you are Muslim it is for the most part because you were born into that belief just for an example.

Yes. Find a copy of "Unlocking the Mystery of Life" DVD and watch it. It provides a scientific approach to life's baffling questions of whether or not God exists and the evidence for God's existence is truly astonishing. This film helped me overcome my doubts and finally got me believing. Don't listen to these people who say God doesn't exist; they are blind guides and if you follow them you will certainly fall into a ditch. Just find this video and watch it...it will get you believing in God.

Nobody can prove God to be real, but you've got to believe that there's some kind of higher being than humans. What, did u expect humans to just pop out of nowhere? Everything had to be created by something! Even the big bang couldn't have happend unless God (or whatever you think it is) created the universe in the first place. We don't need proof, you do! Prove to all the other billion ppl that God doesnt exist

It's a belief. You seem to have missed that.
Has nothing to do with proof. Isn't meant to.
There are some things that can't be proven yet, so you believe one thing or another about them.
One common belief is the idea of God. These people gather because of a common belief.
Others may have other beliefs.
What a world bereft of thought it would be if the anti-theists won and all thought about things you can't prove was restricted! No more thinking about anything you can't prove is real! If you do, you must put a disclaimer: "FICTION! I made it up, please, I don't really believe this!"
Thank goodness we have freedom of religion in this country. It stuns me how many people sell their patriotism for their own ideology.
Oh, I'm not religious.

Why not ? Being a non - believer, you then believe in evolution, right ? Or are an atheist ? Then tell me this. Why is the earth over 4 and ahalf billion years old and this species has only recorded history for ONLY the last 5500 years ? That means about 99.9 % of this planet's EXISTANCE is "unexplainable" YET you and I WALK upon it each and every day. You can't see electricity but you know it is there. You can't see VIRUSES or DISEASE yet they KILL people each and everyday.
Now to the PROOF God EXISTS. Every wonder how close to 5000 years ago people were able to MOVE and ERECT stone blocks each weighing TONS "without" the aid of the WHEEL. Not just "one" block but MILLIONS of them one on top of the other to erect not just one but THREE "Pyramids" in the desert of Egypt. After 4600 years they are STILL "standing" WHILE nothing much of any other culture IS. In the SACRED WORDS of RECORDS left by these peoples they said GOD IN HEAVEN helped them and to DATE not ONE "GENIUS" from every culture amongst us can EXPLAIN "how" such a peoples could accomplish all that was built for a period of 2,400 years. When YOU go to this place called Egypt and LOOK upon all that was built there, and "still" DENY a "higher power" was involved, I want to see YOU "prove" to me how they DID everything...........

I might ask myself do you exist? I have no way of knowing who you are or even proving that you are who you might say you are, from where i am sitting at the moment.
All i have is, a cryptic name and a question that i see. Who i believe you might be, i just conjure up in my mind, from the evidence that i see. i have absolutely no idea!
Who or what might God be? - depends on where YOU are sitting and what evidence YOU can see from that place and any experience YOU might have had.
My experience or evidence doesn't count!
Belief is arrived at through personally experiencing.

Do you believe in the wind?
The wind is real, correct? You can feel it, see the reactions of it on a flag or a tree limb. But you can't see it. You can't see, there's no proof it's even really there except for the fact you can see the reactions of the wind. Where it comes from? We really don't know. Why it goes? We really can't explain. But you know that the wind exists. Now God, you can feel Him, when you have that feeling inside of you and you feel the power of His awesomeness. You can see the reactions when people's lives are changed truely by gifts God's given. But you can't see Him. There's no proof He's really there except it's obvious that you can see the reactions, just like the wind. Why the wind is plausible? Because there is a different kind of proof. Why God is not plausible? No one cares to believe in Him.
Now if we can't explain to you God with earthly things, no way are you to comprehend spiritual things.
