Literally just brought them home today. Never had cats before. We can't afford any machines to get rid of dander, and our house is small so restricting them to one area isn't an option either. Would getting rid of one help the allergy symptoms calm down a little, or are we just screwed? And how expensive is it to treat roundworm?

The roundworm is totally normal and curable by a simple visit to the vet. plus if you haven't already fixed your kittens thats also a good time to take care of everything at once. when we got our kitten, in addition to my already2 grown cats . The kitten had roundworms as well. luckily only one of the boys got roundworm from her. All treatable by the vet for less than $30. The boyfriend allergy's we had as well and after being with the kitten for a week and on Claritin 24 hour tablets, all allergy's went away. And believe me he had them bad. I mean even his lips swelled up and he had red marks all over his body. Yeah I thought we would have to get rid of all the kitties. but thanks to modern science and a little patience and keeping the house clean. allergies and worms cleared up and everyone is happy.

Roundworm is pretty simple to treat. You just need to have your vet deworm the kittens, and they might even give some dewormer to you to continue treatment.
Kittens are prone to being ''wormy'' at some point of kittenhood.
If your boyfriend is allergic, what does it matter? Does he live with you? If so, then I suppose it does matter. I assume ya'll didn't know about his allergies prior to adopting kittens?
Many people can grow a resistance to their own pets after time, so unless it's a serious reaction, just have him take some allergy medicine and hope for the best!

It very easy to treat roundworm, you can use an over the counter wormer on your kittens. The allergy problem is not going to be as easy. If you bf is allergic then you might need to re-home your kittens.

Expense depends on the vet you choose. As for your bf's allergy, He'll just have to go to his doctor and have him or her prescribe him some antihistamines. If you cant afford that right now, have him try some Benedryl for adults (assuming he's at least 18 anyway). He may not need to go to the doctor if that happens to work. Wash your kitties often to keep dander levels low too. Make sure you brush them every day to keep shedding down as well. Hope all this helps.

Many kittens have roundworms.You need to take them to a vet for worming ,vaccinations and spay / neuter surgery,and you need to deal with your boyfriend's allergies.I think maybe you should consider finding new homes for the kittens,as it doesn't seem like financially you're up to taking proper care of them,and your boyfriend is going to suffer.And,no,getting rid of one kitten won't help his allergies;if your allergic to cats,you'll be allergic to one just the same as you would be to two.I'm not trying to be mean,I'm just being realistic.Animals need life - long care,and allergies are nothing to sneeze at (pardon the pun.)

Take the kittens to a vet, they will give them de-worming pills, take the boyfriend to a doctor, they will give him pills for the allergies.
