i have an 18 year old friend, and people say she's pretty, good body, everything, and to top it all off she's really nice too. and yet no guys would ever approach her. most of my friends, who are mean, careless, and not so good looking, guys would just approach to them. what is wrong with this? i mean when im with her guys would stare at her, stay close to her, and give her smiles and such, but would never talk to her. what can she do? no matter what she does they wouldn't want to approach her. other than making first move because she thinks its not proper for a woman to do that. no one would ever approach her normally. if they do, it wouldn't be as normal as a simple hello. as for my other friends they would get that. she's so lonely... i dont know what to tell her, cause im not in that situation.. so what should she do?

NOTHING is wrong. It's perfectly normal.

BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE. THEY ARE NOT "AFRAID" of appraoching a pretty girl. Alot of "nice" guys who have alot to offer (and therefore alot to lose) will NOT want to approach her because . . . .
She gets alot of attention from men (because she is pretty),
And MOST guys have the WRONG idea in their heads
that HE can't compete with all the OTHER men
who "compete for HER".
They THINK because she is pretty , good body and nice, that OTHER men are also interested in her . . . and these guys wont approach her because THEY "THINK" they don't have a CHANCE with her because she MUST GET ALOT OF ATTENTION FROM ALOT OF GUYS......AND THEY THINK SHE IS SICK OF IT.
ALOT of VERY attractive women have this problem.
It's NORMAL.
What to do about it?? She should TRY something she has never tried before. Suggest that SHE show interest in "spending time" with a guy SHE wants to know.
THATS ALL SHE NEEDS TO DO.
SPEND TIME with him.
If she doesn't worry about flirting, or making the first move, or any of that OTHER stuff, she will do fine.

aw. i feel so bad for her! maybe she shud trying makeing sum guy friends and build trust from there. she is nice And pretty so maybe there are intimidated. or maybe they dont know shes nice cuz u said that ur other friends arent nice. just get her to talk to them and maybe they will really really like her. get her to flirt with people who she likes cuz that isnt makeing the first move. she isnt asking them out or anything like that, just a little harmless flirting! i wish her the best of luck i really really do!

you are right... its normal if guys just want to talk to her when she is with you because of jealusy that they want to show you that hey i got your girl
