First of all, a relationship should only consist of two complete individuals. If both of them are not complete or content with themselves, they would look for someone or something else to complete them and it's just not right.
Your spouse is not there to complete you but to compliment you.

In response to tikiboy. Yes I do think you need to be a complete and happy person on your own. You have to have that first before you can realize that there is that one person out there who really does complete your life. It's not so much completing the person that you are but completeling your life.

lol what a cheesy-a*s line! When Tom Cruise said that in Jerry Maguire, I wanted to puke! Another way of saying you complete me: I'm your b*tch.

why on earth would you tell someone that in the first place?
shouldn't you be complete in yourself before you start looking for someone to have a relationship with?
yikes.
