Since the stem cells used are usually from aborted or miscarried (I think) fetuses then why not? It could even save other peoples lives someday.

Of course it is ethical.

Stem cells are cells that are derived from newly fertilized egg. There is no organization to make it think or feel. It is just a group of few cells that does not constitute a human being.

Using stem cells for research with the goal of developing treatment for a human being is more important. As far as I am concern, it is NOT ethical to give up the potential cure for many of our diseases just because a few people object to the use of stem cells on religious basis. We have responsibility to those who are alive and need help.

Certainly. Embryonic stem cells which aren't used in research wind up in the trash.
