Don't drop out! If you can't stick with another year of school then your sure cannot stick it out through boot camp and four tough years as a Marine. Your enthusiasm and desire are admirable but your thinking and logic fall short. The Corps will still be there in a year.

finish school. you will have more opportunities than if you joined with a GED.
For one, the Marines take fewer GED holders than they do HS grads. you must score higher on the ASVAB to qualify. fewer jobs are available, and Bonuses are nonexistent for the most part.
They will look at your dropping out and assume you cannot keep a commitment or stick to anything, and will try and weasel out of your military obligations as soon as it gets hard( long about 15 minutes into Boot Camp).
If your parents are smart they WILL NOT sign for you if you drop out, so you might as well finish high school.

She's wrong about the Army, The Army requires a High School diploma, NOT a GED.
As for the Marine Corps Im sure its the same (Highschool Diploma)

You would be making a bad choice. Talk to a Marine Recruiter, You can begin the process and be on the DEP (Delayed Entry Program) while you finish school.
Do not drop out.

Finish school dude! The marines will always be there and the education will help you upon arrival to Basic. I respect your want for going asap, but you need your high school education to be a successful Marine.

I know you can join the Army being a dropout, but I don't know about the Marines. But in any event, your mom will have to sign a waiver so you can join.

You need your parent's permission. Plus, the USMC only allows a certain percentage of GED holders.
