Above is the car that I found online! It's so cute but if I buy it I think I'd get a paint job and change it to another color, but do you think that's a good deal? Because my dad says you can't trust the internet but yeah I really like what I'm seeing here! Suggestions?

it seems like he isn't from the u.s.a. i would look into something a lot newer and safer. even if it looks nice(which is debatable) i would stay away from anything that old and look newer.

I bought a 68 new and only paid 2005 and that included a full tank of gas and taxes, licenses, and all fees. That was the amount that I wrote out the check for.

It may not have air conditioning either. They are not safe, there are no air bags, and not much to protect you up front. The heaters may take some time to warm up and they may not get that hot. They also require maintenance, the car has a points ignition, and a carburetor that needs adjustment. I know they look cute and are a classic, but you had better be prepared to work on it. The cost of a mechanic can dig into your pocket and run the 1500 car into another tax bracket.

I would pass on this one. Get something a little more reliable and newer, and safer. Good luck.

The car seem like it has been taken care of. The car looks to be in pretty good shape. How about you and your dad go and drive it for yourselves? Then decide. You'll also need to get some estimates on the paint job to see if you want to spend the extra amount before you buy the car if you can't live with the color.

Jennifer Do you actually know how expensive paint jobs are for any kind of vehicles even at todays prices.Paint jobs are never cheap and it takes at least a week or 2 to paint a car because there are other cars there that have priority in those jobs being done.In colors of paints black or blue or red and other dark colors are no good out in the sun and elements, beige or white is ok or baby blue.Have you thought about this? GOOD LUCK
