No. Why should you be concerned about the commander of the Afghan Air Corps visiting the USA? The Afghan government is clearly an ally and we should help them be self-sufficient including when it comes to air power.

The Afghan Army is an effective rag tag team, but its completely dependent on the US/NATO for air support. The sooner we get Afghan pilots trained and ready to take care of their own air support needs, the better.

The commander of the non exsistant Afghan Air Corps visited Laughlin....good it shows signs of progress. Be proud that your local base is a model for them to build their National Army after and to give them guidance.

You should be proud that a foreign emissary/diplomat/mil official chose your local base to tour. He is learning from Our troops on how they should model his Air Bases.

LAFB is an International example of Military Might. Be proud not afraid.

Foreign military personnel visiting the U.S. for training is a common occurrence.

We also go overseas and conduct training for foreign militaries. Foreign soldiers go to school at our military academies.

It's not as uncommon as you might think.

This happens more then you think. Most of the time its just kept quiet. If they didnt think it was safe to have him there, he wouldnt be. Not all people from there are bad or out to get us. I would be more worried about China & stop turning a blind eye...
