I got one today and boy! it pissed me off! Usually it doesn't bother me, but today I got a question deleted and it was a question about Christianity, I only posted it in response to this guy who was posting all these ignorant generalizing questions about atheism. Well some fundy got all huffy and got my question deleted, of course the guys atheist questions stayed posted though! Boy that made me mad!

Not good,Wayne...sorry to hear that..I am still waiting for a reply from them,on my last petition.
Maybe an experiment is in order..I will post a similar question,as I did the other day...this time I will say:"A respected member of the Yahoo Violations Committiee has an urgent prayer request"
Details: "Will you join me in prayers and well wishes for he and his family"?
I'll bet they would grab the violation stamper, without even reading it"...
By the way,how many violations must you earn,to get kicked off the island? I really don't even know.

I'm guessing your violation notice was a violation due to a question on religion. I doubt they even look at the question that was violated to see if it was violated. Well its happen to me before because I was trying to help people but thats a different story. Either your Christian or Athiest I'm still going to say this. God Bless (and yes I am a Christian!).

I havent gotten a violation in a couple of days, but getting them makes me furious!
What makes me even more furious is the fact that, even though I try to appeal them, Yahoo just sends an auto-response.
Also, I feel the vague report categories allow people to report people they dont like without a reason. Before you had to put at least "Chatting" or whatever, but now... Sigh..
Im just happy I can block and set my Q&A to private. I really cant ask for more, but if someone actually read the violation reports before sending them to your inbox, well, that would be just dandy!

Youre a top contributor, too! I guess if you put youself out there more, answering more questions, then the chances of offending someone unwittingly, or just having someone hit the wrong button increase.
Id feel bad for having "violated" someone, lol.

I purely won yet another one right this moment, and it sounds stupid, regardless of the undeniable fact that it hurts and that i'm getting mad. i % to be certain contacts and perhaps erase some, who, i don't understand, and it probable isn't a splash. i % to provide up Y/A. Then after calming down and understanding that that's the two my fault through fact of regulations and regulations I in some way inadvertently broke, then Que Sara, Sara, in spite of would be,would be, Que Sara.

Personally, I usually think it's kind of funny. People are so anal on here. I once called my opposing political party a bunch of whine bags...the question called my party the nastiest name you can think of...and I got a violation notice, yet the question stayed. Haha. I think they have a lot of idiots working at Yahoo who can't determine one violation from the next, so they leave it to the WHINE BAGS to judge it for them.

I just got another one Unc, an answer deleted in the "Philippines" section?! I think people hate their territory "invaded" by newbies. Its a threat to them, so its easy to hit the abuse button without conscience or shame mainly becaue Y!A doesn't have an answer to that at this time. Geez, they don't even have a means to police and detain the ones with vulgar, perverted avatars and questions.

I got my first one today. I wouldn't have minded if I had said something offensive! Wish I had now! Walks off muttering...
Is it true that you're nobody 'til you've had a violation notice???
