I was fourteen. I was not raised in a Christian home. God kind of led me to a guy who was a new Christian and just in love with God, and I realized that God had been guiding me toward a relationship with Him all along. My friend led me in prayer to receive Christ.
Of course, it took a few more years, including a couple of kind of "wandering and going astray," to really appreciate how much I needed Christ. Before that, I just didn't think I was "that bad" of a person to have been deserving of hell. There's stuff from that time that I regret, but it really made me grateful for grace.
Two of my kids have asked Him into their hearts; they were each about five. Which shocked me; especially with my oldest. We didn't even really talk about sin; I thought she was too young to grasp the concept; certainly too young to be accountable for hers. She was going through a rough time conduct-wise; she felt she couldn't help herself. I told her to ask God to help her do better, and she took my breath away with her next question: "But what if I can't be good and God won't let me go to heaven?"
So I shared with her that everyone sins, and that God forgives us if we just believe in Him and ask Him to live within us. I told her about Jesus taking the punishment for our sins, so that all she had to do was ask His forgiveness, and He would help her choose between right and wrong. And we prayed, and she asked Jesus to come live inside of her heart.
I always wondered whether I'd know when my kids were ready. I never want to push them; whatever they choose, it's worthless if it's not genuine. I'm just glad God knows when they're ready.
Sorry so long; it's just that kind of story. :-)

I'm not sure when my son accepted Jesus, but one of his first words was Jesus. Whenever he saw any artist's rendition of Jesus or anyone that looked like Jesus, or saw a depiction of Him on tv (etc...) or the like, he'd point and say... Jeezuh...Jeezuh... he was 2 yrs old. It was sooo cute!!
I think I was 3 or so... although I myself, was raised mormon. I was taught about Him through that religion and I am grateful. It was because of that religion that I sought an even closer walk with him at 12. Anyway, I always loved Jesus and knew He was my saviour from a young age, but when I found out about all the other stuff people have arguments about, (between mormons and other denominations, catholics, etc...) I decided I would try to warn, yet inform my child about those so that he could avoid it, and embrace everyone who loves Jesus, those who are trying to learn about Him and to be patient with those who seem mistaken.

I was only eight years old. My kids, ages 8 and 6, received the Lord at ages 5 and 4, respectively. I have another child, age 1, who of course has no clue about the Lord, yet, but I sing her "Jesus Loves Me" a lot.
It's interesting that even a small child can be in rebellion against the Lord. My son was very angry with God when he was about 5 years old, because of some problems he was having at school (he's homeschooled now). One day, when we are in the car, his younger sister started "preaching" the things I was teaching her--really loudly!
"WE LOVE GOD! AND JESUS IS OUR SAVIOR!"
I'm not sure why, but this somehow softened his heart to the Lord, and after that he was more in submission to God. Now, he is at the point where he says, "I'm trying to get closer to God." He prays more on his own now.

I was raised a Christian, but it took me awhile to understand what it really meant to invite Jesus into your heart. I thought that I knew, but I really didn't. I was baptized at age 10, thinking that I was totally ready to be a committed Christian. I still didn't understand my need for Christ in my heart and what it meant to surrender to Him, and let Him take over your heart and life. I didn't even start to comprehend this until I was about 11, and it wasn't until the age of 16 that I truly committed myself to Christ. Since He has come to reign in my heart, I cannot express the joy that is in my life, nor the changes that He has in my life. Praise God for salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ!
I don't have kids yet, but when I do, I will certainly try my best to reflect the love of Christ to them through my own life, so that they may come to know Jesus as their personal savior.
God Bless!

I was saved at the age of 36. I was a very stubborn, show me, type of person until I met Jesus. He gave me a new attitude. : )I wasted so much of my life not knowing him and his grace. If I had it to do over again, I would pay more attention when my Mama sent me off to church and read the little bible a preacher gave me when I was about ten. I think now, what if I had died before I found Jesus..if you are reading this and you are a young person, do it now. Don't put it off another moment.

I was about 6, but I re-received him later on in life many times. I wanted to make sure I was covered. When I was 6 I didn't exactly know everything, and the reasons. Life was easy and nothing bothered me.

The previous testomony pronounced in case you are trying this, then this could take place. No grace or mercy there. So God sent Jesus so we are able to have the mercy and charm of God right here and now. basically God can show the which ability of his observe, the bible. So if we could desire to renowned the reality we could desire to ask God to coach us meanings and supply us understanding or we in basic terms wager. in the previous we initiate reading the bible ask God for understanding and understanding, then we are able to understand and comprehend it as God provides it to us. If i had to renowned something written is Martian, i could bypass to somebody that speaks Martian and ask them what it ability so as that i'll comprehend what it says. Or i ought to look at it, no longer understanding, then say it ability this or that: no longer understanding Martian, i ought to attempt to make it mean despite i wanted, however this does not be the nicely suited interpretation. Many try this with the bible, it truly is God's observe and basically God can let us know the which ability of issues and supply us understanding too. Or we in basic terms wager or make something up. So bypass to God and ask him immediately for the reality of his observe. And God can try this by way of any bible, no longer basically some yet all. wish this facilitates and take care.
