He was not helpless. He was a genius. Unfortunately, genius is often accompanied by insanity and in Hitler's case, pure evil.
It's not true that people cannot be born all bad. Some people are born bad. Hitler was one of them. But, there have been others and there will be more.

let us look at his legacy shall we? he basically started WW ll, he ordered the final solution in which Jews, gays, and other undesirables were murdered by the state. he organized the wafen ss into the criminal organization that it was. he was the one that essentially took the gloves off when it came to bombing civilian targets. yes i know that the first bombing of London was an accident, and the British retaliated for that, but Hitler, rather than contact Churchill and ask whiskey tango foxtrot is going on? he just decided to bomb civilian targets indiscriminately. in fact that is what the V1 and V2 rockets were for, terror bombing, though he called them vengeance weapons. did he do good for germany, yes in the early years. but he was essentially evil.

I think he was 90% evil, 10% misunderstood. Apparently, he really thought he was doing the world a favor by killing all the Jews.

No human can be pure evil but he was a very bad person. He was racist,fascist and hateful but he did love Eva Braun and his family and believe it or not his country.

I think he had syphilis. Which can make people mad, but if their madness is mixed with charisma and if it comes along at just the right time, blammo!
