That might not be a bad idea...just to make sure everything is OK! If it is...maybe he/she can suggest some exercises you can do that won't be so stressful for you. I think the walking sounds like a good start...maybe just do smaller bursts...like 10 minutes at a time, 2 or 3 times a day...that way you won't get so out of breath & can keep the chest pains at bay! ;o)

Well, if you don't exercise for a very long period of time, and your exercise is too vigorous, it's easy to get these symptoms. Seeing a doctor is good for you too, since there might be some other causes. But I'm suggesting that if you can reduce the speed when you walk?? You shouldn't start by walking too fast. But if the problems persist, try seeing a doctor is a better choice.

Yes, you may be asthmatic. I would advise you to see your doctor for a checkup before you start any exercise regime for a period of time. When you start to work out, start off slow with very low resistance before you move up to more difficult exercises. Take your time walking for 10-15 minutes daily and watch your breathing techniques.

DON'T EXERCISE until you have seen a doctor. If your chest hurts it could be dangerous. The doctor will be able to tell you if it is OK for you to exercise. I hope it is a problem that is easily remedies, but please don't do anything strenuous until you get checked out.
