I wouldnt say the best first car.
it fun to have speed etc but you need to learn to drive first i said on here before i believe it took me a goodfew years to learn to drive.Lessons and the test taught me to drive a car but not to experience and see problems before they happen. So a smaller slower car would be more ideal.
It wouldnt have to be a boring type.
There to many pics and stories of first drivers with fast cars and those pics are horrible.
Theres plenty of time to have a faster car.and anyway a bigger car would give you room for your mates and the young ladies.
Iam not sure of which cars you have avalible to you where you live but i would pick a sporty looking slower car.
If you go for the Z there great cars are all Nissan s are.

Ok well... in my opinion it is not a good 1st car for anyone. The insurance will be through the roof and the main reason is because of young people buying cars like 350Z's and driving like they know what the hell they are doing. I recently read an article about young drivers and sports cars... the main reason its a horrible idea is the brain doesn't fully develop responsible driving habits until about 23 years of age... reason being is if you have a friend in your vehicle... it is very easy for peer pressure to kick in around the ages of 16-22. Honestly in my opinion get a Subaru Impreza, Mitsubishi Lancer, or just get a used vehicle like a Nissan 240SX.. something sporty yet 4 door or even the 240sx is a great 2door sports coupe.

its a nice car, but a little small. it really just depends on what you like. I personally am looking into a bmw 3 series. They have all the power, luxury, and room i want. They also look cool and sporty. If price is a determining factor then, depending on the model, you can find a used one for a pretty resonable price. I have a friend thats looking to get a 350z however, and i can see why she likes it. I prefer large cars, or suvs though.

Much to fast first car. If you are rich enought to afford a $47,000 car and insurance of $1,500 every 6 months go for it! I reccomend learn to drive a cheep car first. Get education and a great job buy a house. Cars are temporary and should not be considered as assets if you drive them. Take a Driver's Edge car control school then a couple of track days really learn how to drive. Then decide that the ZO-6 corvette was really what you wanted...

i take it you are a new driver?many ways to look at it.insurance is going to be way out there, cost of car also high.a good first car is honda or toyota, more resonable on the wallet all the way around.
