Eternity means from the creation of the universe to the collapse or end of the universe. I hope this helps. Best Regards, M.G.S.

When you live in an apartment and it's the middle of the night and you're sound asleep and the drunk who lives above you, with his bedroom over yours, comes home and the sound of his shoe hitting the floor when he removes it wakes you up----waiting for that second shoe to fall is an eternity.

OK
A small bird lands on a solid rock, 5miles high, 5 miles wide. The bird swipes his bick on the rock and flies away. He does this until the rock is faded away from all the bick swiping. When the rock is gone..THAT is one day in Eternity.

It's like watching a clock. The needle for seconds ticks perfectly, but the hour and the minutes always stay the same. And you stare at that clock, hoping time will move on.

It is from now till some planet comes close to earth and the earth disintegrates. Of course, the answer would change if there is life on other planets, but that seems unlikely.
