Only if we WANT to be fixed

2007-07-12 15:31:15 · answer #1 · answered by kenny p 7 · 3 2

I don't think it's about Jesus fixing what's wrong with us.
But accepting the fact that we have the ability to fix what's wrong with us, if we follow our intuition, that is, use our Christ Conciousness.

But that means we would have to learn to be silent. to listen and surrender.
What may be required of us might not be what we want to hear.

In the prayer of St. Francis of Assisi we don't ask 'Please bring peace upon us'
We ask 'make me a channel of your peace'
That is we act with spiritual grace. As Ghandi put it, become what you want to see in the world.

Well, if what he was supposed to have done to the fig tree is anything to go by, I have to say I have my doubts.

But as he was only trying to rescue his own people and religion by re-constituting the Law of Moses' strict observance, and tossing the Romans out of Palestine, he wasn't claiming to be able to fix what's wrong with everyone else.

That was Paul and Constantine that rigged up that whole deal.

He is a major part of the problem.

America’s Founding Fathers excluded him from the public sector, and for the last 200 years conservative radical Christians have been trying to destroy the US Constitution and the nation in order to create a Fascist Theocracy based on the doctrine of their sadistic and brutally judgmental God who hates liberty, freedom, and all of humanity.

well if you make an alter made of holy wood, and pieces of the cross and then light 2 roman candles, and sacrifice your first child, jesus will appear and grant you three wishes. But remeber, you cant wish for love, only for a fur coat, a flying car and a planet full of unicorns. HEYYYY

He have already fixed us since the day He was crucified. But we keep on breaking ourselves with sins.

Jesus can't fix us, but we can fix ourselves following his teachings! Before he was crucified, he left us with one rule... LOVE EACH OTHER. As you can see, we are doing a piss poor job of that.
