Nice *roll eyes*- as gypsy cat and lavender diamond stated- this is probably the most rude arrogant thing one could put on one's door.
News Flash----- Mormons and JW's are human as well. We're as grossed out by naked people at the door as the next person. We're also equally as able to use the law to obtain justice.
Courtesy goes a lot further than being a jerk-- the whole honey vs vinegar thing.
I actually served a mission ("Mormon"), and I prefered people who answered the door and politely told us that they weren't interested.
People who were rude just made me upset....(I didn't leave home, family, music, guys, dancing, dating, school, job, etc and travel 1000 miles away to share something that is special to me with people who are rude!...)
And those who just didn't answer their door made me wonder if I'd knocked loud enough... (Did they hear us?)

No because it is too arrogant but on the other hand if you don't want people to knock then it is just this simple don't answer your door. They will get the picture and leave you alone. Just because these people are religious doesn't mean that they will listen to a arrogant sign they will still do what they want to do regardless of what anyone says. The best thing, and wise thing to do is just ignore who you don't want at your home. If that doesn't work then politely tell them. You get more bees with honey than you do with vinegar.

That would make a hell of a bumpersticker, even for a Bishop-owned Hummer.
Unfortunately most people, especially young missionaries, no longer understand the definition of 'quartered', and may expect something to feed the parking meter.

Matt.24:37:"For just as the days of Noah were,so the presence of the Son of Man will be.For as they were in those days before the Flood, eating and drinking,........until the day Noah entered into the ark,AND THEY TOOK NO NOTE UNTIL THE FLOOD CAME AND SWEPT THEM ALL AWAY,so the presence of the Son of Man will be"
Matt.24:14:"This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations AND THEN THE END WILL COME".
Keep mocking, keep laughing...........we'll see who has the last laugh...........

Well, I think the untrained Rottweiler is enough! I had a Rottie when I was in college and when I was home I would leave the front door open (full screen door closed and latched)...no one ever came to my house to sell me anything...even the Mormons and JWs found it easier to go next door!

My insurance man said if there were disclaimers like...Beware of Dog....the insurance would not cover the homeowner
If there are threats on your front door anyone can bring a police officer and have you arrested for bodily threats and possible murder threats. Then you can explain it to a judge.
If you curse someone out you go to jail......if you touch another person you get arrested for battery...or curse and shove to get aggravated battery.
be careful not to lie about those Witnesses because it's slander. ...you write lies and it's libel.
It is much nicer to answer your door and be kind when you ask them to please take your house off of their list. That you are not interested.
They will be glad to oblige.

I would probably ring the bell and run, just to be obnoxious!! But it is a good sign!
Oh.. by the way, I'm "mormon". I think I would laugh at it if I were a missionary and saw it. I probably wouldn't knock or ring the bell, just because you expressed deep loathing over anything that interrupts your day, but that would just be me.

I'm sure it WOULD be effective, but it's incredibly unkind.
I'm not religious, but the Mormons and JW's I've met were each and all lovely people. I politely tell them I'm not interested but thank them for stopping.
They're doing what they believe is the right thing for humankind.
