Yes they can. I just recently saw a litter with two different breed mixtures,, those puppies could not have come from the same father, it was hard to believe they belonged to the same litter.

Yes a dog can for sure get pregnant by multiple male dogs with the same litter. Example a dog can have 5 puppies and those puppies are from 2 different dads. 100%

It is very true that a female can mate with more than one male during her heat cycle and can have pups from the same litter with different sires.
Female dogs release eggs over several days and will mate with most any fertile male dog in the area.

Yes, it is true and possible.
In the human anatomy, usually only one egg is released during a 28-day cycle. The 'skin' of this egg remains soft and penetrable until it has been penetrated by a male sperm. Immediately after the penetration, the human body releases a hormone which makes the egg 'skin' impenetrable to other sperm. Hence, in humans, single births are most often encountered. There are deviations from this scheme, but they are rare.
In dogs, this is quite different. Dog come in heat 2-3 times per year, and they release multiple eggs which can also be fertilized by multiple sires over a span of a few days.

Yes, this is true. If a female mates with several males within the same time period , she could be pregnant with any or all of their babies. Its definately possible, but at the same time your puppies could look nothing alike and still have the same dad.

That is absolutely true. You cannot go by looks though. Often times littermates look nothing alike but still have the same mother and father. The only way to tell for sure would be to DNA the two sisters. If their DNA doesn't match closely, they are only half sisters. You would then have to DNA the sires if you wanted to know which dog sired which puppy.

Yes they certainly can. You see....female dogs are in heat for anywhere from a week to three weeks, though usually it's around the two week mark. During that time, they release different eggs. They don't STOP doing this until their heat is over...unlike human females who will stop once they're pregnant...SO...if a male dog breeds your dog in the first week of heat, and another breeds her in the second...the puppies will have two different fathers.
ALSO...if your dog is bred the first week, and the last....the mother will go into labor according to the FIRST set of puppies, so the second set will be born a week premature.

Yes, this is true. Each male dog can fertilize a different egg as each puppie is in it's own sack. It is different for humans but the same for cats.
