Any trauma to the eye is serious. Please get this poor animal to the vet now.
I have a yellow labby. They are sweet. Take good care of him or her.

YES! You should take the dog in to see a vet if there is any sign of injury. Otherwise, the dog could lose the eye and possibly go blind in the other one from infection.

Would you think it was serious if you got hit with something sharp in YOUR eye? Take your dog to the vet.

Get the dog to a vet as soon as possible. Call the vet tonight and find out how urgent it is, as I am not sure.

I need more info to know for sure, close the oppisite eye gently, then wiggle your fingers infron of the infected eye, if there is no reaction, such as flinching, i would stary worrying.also if the dog acts abnormal, this could be serious. No matter what, if u care about your dog, you should take it to the vet. PLEASE PLEASE take it to the vet.

always take a pet with an eye injury to the vet. there could be cornea damage you can not see

take to the vet and not be asking especially if it is swelling and bleeding don't wait and go asap if no money call the ASPCA in you local area
