What are the things called. I mean the little hairs on the side of the forhead like alyssa milano has. Little short hairs on the side of the forehead.

No idea who Alyssa Milano is?
Are these natural hairs? Or are they cut to be short hairs?
I have some very fine, inch long hairs that never grow past that length on the side of my forehead - they will not straighten out with a flat iron (too fine for the flat iron to catch) or a blow dryer, and they grow straight back.
Can you give some more information? It may just be long vellus hairs (like the fine hairs on your face, on your arms, legs, etc...vellus is just fine body hair).
