I have a cat that looks a bit like a Bombay. Is he part, full, or none Bombay?

And are there any "signs" to tell?

Sorry, but the only way to tell if he is a Bombay or part Bombay is if one or both of his parents were purebred and came from a breeder with registration papers. Many domestic cats can look like purebreds, but actually are not related at all.

There are ways to help you tell. Although, since there are no papers on your cat you can't be totally sure. They have short, satiny, black fur, noses, and toes and their fur is black all the way to the root. They have wide, rounded heads with a short tapered muzzle. Bombays have copper to greenish eyes that are rounded and set wide, and their ears are broad, slightly rounded and medium sized. The ears are also set wide. Itis said that they can be leash-trained and that they also can be trained to play fetch. Does this help?

Agreed with above. You're kitty is adorable though. I have a black kitty too. Looks part Siamese in the shape of her face and body, but is just a run of the mill Domestic Short Hair.
