It will look just like it does today! How cool!

Nothing we do on Earth will help in any significant way. Mankind contributes a meager 3% to "climate change"

Let's all be thankful the Earth did warm a little. The alternative is far worse… Global Cooling… Mini Ice Age…

Global Warming Alarmists are merely opportunists jumping on the cash cow trying to earn a quick buck by scaring people into believing they are destroying the planet.

We have reached the apex of Earth's recent warming trend and we will gradually start cooling down again within the next 10 years.

I will be sitting here with my smug smile 10 years from know when all the "Global Warming" followers realize how foolish they have been.

How will the Earth look?
Coastal areas will be submerged. A lot of Florida will be completely underwater.
Deserts will appear and spread.
The polar ice caps will disappear. Glaciers will completely disappear.
Currently temperate zones will turn tropical.
Global weather will destabilize and extreme weather will be found in all parts of the world. Hurricanes will worsen.
Large numbers of animal species will become extinct. Many plant species will also become extinct.

Hope this doesn't bum you out. But we all need a kick in the @ss to get moving on reducing global warming.

From space, it will look bluer and greener, and no ice at the poles, to speak of. Still beautiful.

From the earth, depends on how we react. If with panic and going ahead with all the restrictive laws, it will be crowded and dingier. Folks huddled in cities trying to keep cool. Africans will be dying like flies from lack of medical care and food. China will be prosperous, feeding those who can afford it, covered with factories emitting smoke and steam, and rejoicing in the great crops and their great income.

Other nations will be prospering in inverse proportion to how much they had to follow the strict controls of the USA on personal freedoms.

IF we throw off the yoke of repression somehow, and do not panic now and throw all our money into quick fixes and schemes of the rich companies and politicians, the USA will be prosperous, with new cities rising, people busy and employed, agriculture booming, aquaculture booming, new energy sources booming, and NASA will be back to moving into space instead of working up how to make the laws tighter in greenhouse gases.

Other nations will prosper too insofar as their people are not enslaved to the GW folks and their ideas of control by an oligarchy.

With higher temperatures and more CO2, crops will prosper.
Trees will grow faster. We will have surpluses to use to bring the developing nations along with us.

I think our new cities will be clean and bright and the arts will be flourishing.

Unless the big corporations who are raping the Rain Forests are not stopped by cutting off their rewards from the Global Warming folks for doing it very very very soon, tho, the equator may be a sore angry brown wound, rather than green and making food and medicines for all. They are doing it in the name of stopping global warming!!

Now, it is known by scientists that in this period of time, there will be warmings and coolings globally, some bigger than those we have now, even, and eventually we will fall back into a terribly long ice age again.

I think all these so knowlegable scientists should be lending their expertise to the longer range problems of preventing an accelerating Global Cooling!

Because right now all we have to do is allow fine dust into the air, or even into space, in the right quantities, and the atmosphere will cool right down, far as we want it to. Simple and inexpensive solution. Tested and Proven to work in the near past, also!

And do not worry we will become like Venus, not close enough to the sun nor enough CO2 unless, of course, we have a massive war and all the fires release all the carbon as CO2. But we know better than to run wars anymore, right? Right??

Mmm...are we forgetting that the Earth is vulnerable to an asteroid hit, and we are about due for a good big one? And one of the casualties of the current emphasis on "Global warming" is our program to get into space, where we will at least stand a chance of detecting and diverting any dangerous pieces of space junk coming in on a collision course.

You do realize a big asteroid hitting the earth, especially undetected, would be a VERY inconvenient truth?!!

Most of you dont know what is going to happen after 2010. And we got less than 10 years left. Before you were born, you must have heard of the Chernobil incident, At that time the technology was available the containment field they created was meant to last 30 years, 20 years passed less then 10 years left. And the containment field is already leaking, Russia suggested a 2nd containment field to be built over the first one. Its like the worlds largest grave. But russia doesnt have the money...it went poof!! making the first one. Unless someone does somehting about it we are about to have a nuclear fall out in next 7 to 8 years. SO my request is forget the global warming for now and think about the task in hand, or you wont have anything left to think about after 10 years.

In the extreme, it will look like the age of dinosaurs. At that time the climate warmed so much (nobody knows for sure why) that all polar ice melted, tropical vegetation thrived in places that are cold today and sea level was several hundred feet higher than it is today. That was a good time for life in general, but of course there were no farms or cities to be flooded by rising seas. The dinosaurs simply moved to higher ground. For us, the cost would be trillions of dollars to rebuild our cities and farms on higher ground.

the project with technology is you won't be able to %. and choose which aspects to have confidence. there became the guy from Southern Baptist going for his PhD in evolutionary biology on an identical time as on an identical time refusing to provide up his theory in smart layout. the two ideals are basically incompatible and the guy rather the two had an time table or a screw loose. Who might have confidence this individual? you won't be able to be a conservationist and protector of the earth on an identical time as on an identical time ignoring the technology that asserts CO2 is taken into consideration one of our greatest issues. This finally ends up in countless inner conflicts and rationalizations which finally ends up in inconsistent and irrational strikes. i does not have confidence this individual. i'm sorry, yet to me that asserts that this individual the two has an time table or some form of psychological project. i don't mean a psychological ailment like the evolutionary creationist guy; that's a miles greater diffused project all of us have. It has to do with the scope, the dimensions of the project. maximum folk purely won't be able to rather conceive that issues are that undesirable. they're. they simply don't have adequate expertise and journey to technique all of it, so as that they make rationalizations like - we've set it up so it rather is impossible for me to function in the united states in 2008 with out a vehicle, so how could desire to we've screwed up so undesirable? Naw, we could not have, AGW must be a scam. nicely, i assume some thing is greater suitable than not something; so in case you're uncomplicated, thank you on your efforts.

It's not going to sizzling hot. But relatively fast change in climate patterns can effect food & water supply. People like us in wealthy nations will probably adapt and find ways to survive, but people in impoverished nation can suffer tremendously.

The gap in rich and poor countries will be widen.

hey you can only imagine the situation only first of all. due to the melting of the glaciers the sea level will rise and thereby the coastal area would submerge. The plain areas would suffer with loss of rainfall and drying up of river leading on to the scarcity of water on one side and flood like situation on the other side.
