Go to airlinepilotcentral.com. There's an "Airline Profiles" section in the upper right hand corner. Start there and narrow it down to the specific airline you're interested in.

You'll see an hourly rate and also something called a "monthly guarantee". As a new airline pilot you may be on reserve for the first several months (or years) and may not fly very much. In order for you to get a decent paycheck all airlines have a monthly guarantee which you will be paid regardless of how much you fly. Of course, if you fly more than this you will be paid accordingly.

Whatever John Paul meant by that comment, i do not know...

But in response to your question, the starting salary at the regional airlines for a first officer is about 20 - 24 thousand dollars... Understand that pilots are not payed by a salary however, they are paid by the hour... and it usually comes out to between 20 and 24 thousand...

Buss drivers come home every night. Feeder Airlines pay much less.
