OK...I have some REAL questions and I would like some HONEST opinions. Nothing mean or hateful...I'm just really curious.
1. Since there are so many people sneaking into the county illegally, why don't they just band together and change things in their own country? I mean if MILLIONS of people got together they COULD change things in their home country. Instead of coming here they could make things better in their homeland.
2. If illegal immigrants want the people of the US to feel for their situation, why do they wave other flags instead of old glory? I can almost understand why they want to come here...and the need to protest when they are being arrested for illegally being here, but I'm sorry, but I can't feel sorry if they are waving another country's flag. To me its a slap in the face. If you want my support that you love this country and want to stay, you had better show respect. Anyone else feel this way?
3.If we make them legal citizens, don't they get minimum wage?

I ran out of room with the minimum wage question. If we have to pay them mimum wage doens't that kill the whole they work for almost nothing arguement? I'm all for giving people enough money to live on, but if businesses have to pay more why don't they just hire americans?
And if they become citizens there will be nothing to stop them from claiming some disability and getting a monthly check, right?
Lastly, if we legalize all this people, don't you think there will be a huge surge of people coming across the border to get in on the deal? And when they do get citizenship, what do we do with the next wave of illegals? Let them build up and then give them citizenship as well? I just see a neverending cycle...does anyone else agree?

First of all, these illegal immigrants standing on our soil and waving their mexican flag while they live here tax-free, raking in the benefits, driving on our roads, attending our schools, making everyone bend over backwards to understand that spanish bullshit because they aren't smart enough to learn even the most minimally functional english....they need to tell them that if they want to live here, then they WILL join the US military and begin paying taxes just like the rest of us.

Immigrants-The Much Mis-understood Dilemma!
Trafficking of men, boys, or women from Eastern Europe, or (the former Soviet Union satellite countries), into the USA for prostitution work, is illegal, and punishable under current USA laws pertaining to that situation. This phenomenon is also being done by the Chinese underground railroad, that deals with illegals whom they promise a better way of life, with financial gain for self and family here in the USA.
And whom are at the mercy, and personal risk of death, if they fail to repay the travel expenses to their facilitators, when they get to the American shores, and discovers that all that was promised was a fallacy. This debate or concern is only seen as important in communities with such large volumes of this ethnic group/s, that residents in those communities feel insecure, threatened economically, and plays into the hands and stereotypes, that the general culture portrays about these people.
Such as criminal elements, undercutting jobs, providing services for less than minimum wage, and does not pay taxes.
Finally, this debate overshadows the Immigration Dilemma that the USA has allowed to fester for decades, because it helped Big & Small businesses alike, to manipulate and exploit illegal workers, with poor wages, terrible working conditions, no health care, and the ability to hire and fire them at random, without valid or substantive reason/s.

1. The people of Mexico wouldn't be able to do that themselves due to the fact that they have not been tought any form of education so there is no way for them to lead a reveloution to change anything.
2. Well i don't think they have a right to protest for being arrested if here illegally. I'm sorry but if you want to become a citizen then go through the paper work and do it legally. I also agree that if they want us to feel bad for them they need to show they are here in the United States to stay and not to make some money pop out a few kids and collect our hard earned tax money.
3. Yes they would thats why all of them support it. But it's not fair to make them citizens what about all the people from cuba, and england, and everyother country that are waitting for there legal citizenship to be processed. They still have to wait but the people who cheated there way in are just granted it.

They are under the myth that when they got here that we will move away an that this is there country for the taking. They don't want to become citizens some do but most don't.They wanted amnesty to be here with papers. So they can travel around without any problems. But not so they will lose all the social services an free bees.Well it's a shock that ,We the people have spoken an know there hopes an dreams are shard-ted from the failing of there so wanted amnesty. They now have to face reality that there going to have to leave. There choice again on how to leave and apply legally or be deported an not allowed back.

The illegal immigration issue is interesting because our President and our Congress want them here. They refuse to enforce our current immigration laws, which have been on the books for sometime. We really don't need new legislation; we just need to have the current immigration laws enforced. Can you tell me of anyone who respects anything that they get from free? Usually only that which is earned in valued. If we give these folks amnesty at no cost, they will respect our borders, language and culture even less than they do now. These fence jumpers only come here for the money, which they send back to Mexico. Remittances are the second largest income for Mexico, producing some $30 billion dollars a year. That is why President, Calderón doesn’t do anything about them. Bush and congress are pandering to this group because they want them as voters. America is for sale. Greed is the driver and ignorance is the fuel for this idiocy. .

1. i actually like your plan of uniting and helping some countries.
so how long will it take? meanwhile what are millions of illegals going to feed off of? who's going to stay in the states and work the crappy jobs?
2.i went to that march in LA many had the flags of other countries yes..disrespectful, but what about the ones that didn't? why do they get the punishment too? did you know that there were many their who were legal? no disrespect but a slap in the face for what? for everything YOU "give" us? we work hun!
3. if they do become legal citizens don't they have the right like every other citizen? why would you not give them minimum wage? doesn't sound fair to me
sorry your plan is not very thought out right i disagree.

1- they would be killed if they revolted in their country. at least initially. If enough people rose up they might be able to overthrow their govt.
2- I agree. they have hurt their cause with loyalty to a country that has done nothing for them. what a pity.
3- I guess the only positive thing about amnesty would be that we would at least get some tax revenue from people who are now freeloading with the exception of sales tax.

What the problem is, is that these people refuse to assimilate into American culture. They refuse to learn the language of our country. I don't know of any of you have been to Los Angeles lately but it totally looks like a foreign country with all the street vendors selling knick knacks and food. You don't even hear a lick of English being spoken. Being Hispanic myself It really angers me to see how these people can come here and try to change our way of life. I sympathize with the anti-illegal immigration activists which are called racists what would they call me?

Good question.
#1. They can't do that because they have no guns. That is why the Founding Fathers gave us the right to bear arms.
#2. They are sheep with just a few leaders.
#3. Yes.

1. their countries know that these people cannot help their country. they may be criminals, poor, uneducated, etc. and their countries don't really care about them, they actually want them gone.
2. makes no sense at all
3. yes, they would. that is why they don't need to be accepted, they need sent back so that the people who are waiting to come legally can have a shorter wait time, or be let in immediately
