It is possible, but I'm not here for that. I'm here to look into the minds of atheists. I like to see how they think. I find it interesting, as they are all (well, most) very well educated.

More or less, I like to give answers that make people want to do a little research for themselves and find the facts on their own.

"Make them"?...not likely...especially if they religiously devoted to their belief. But I have seen questions posted by people that are questioning their beliefs and, in that case, I believe it is possible that a thoughtful response CAN lead someone to re-evaluate his or her beliefs.

Some of my overly zealous 'friends' may think so; However realisticly, it's God and Him alone who can 'convince people' of their need of him (and thus, convert them.)

Christians are like instruments - If we are "in tune" with God, we can make beautiful music (for him)....However, if we're not in tune we can be quite the earache! *ROTFL* ( truely profound thought, don't ya think?!?! LOL)

Besides, lately Y!A has become a forum for sarcasm & insults and very little of anything legitimate.

With all of that being said, God can still use something here to speak to someone ---- IF HE chooses.

God bless.

No, I don't. But, let me ask you this: How is it any different for a believer to be on here then it would be for a non believer? Are they hoping to convert us to nonbelief?

Anything is possible with God, but I mostly enjoy the interaction.

I like it when non-believers ask good questions, and I laugh when they ask stupid question. Either way, it's a good time.

Mostly not. God does not want everybody. To some people He did not give the "ears to hear." You can help Christians who did not understand some of the principles correctly.

None of us can make believers of anyone.

Only God can do that. He uses the Holy Spirit for this purpose.

All we can hope to do is point a person in the right direction. It is up to God to save them.

I could only hope my answers let people know that God is there for them--ALWAYS and RIGHT NOW--beside them.
And waiting for them to talk to Him like they talk to friends.
