It sounds southern to me.

Just like people saying CAH (car) and WOODER(water)

Different people have different accents.

Because of regional pronunciation. Every country in the world of any decent size has different pronunciations in different regions.

BTW "Cah" is Bostonian I'm from Rhode Island so we just say "Ca" though I've never heard anyone say "wooder."

Sounds southern to me - it is called a drawl. It is just some people's accent not an actual different pronunciation.

Because of a thing called accent. Its similar to why GWB calls nuclear devices nucular. Either that or we have an idiot for a President! Maybe both!
