To do it, you'll need two sets of "Ford" radio removal tools.

You need to start by pulling out the center console pocket; it's just held in with clips. After that, remove two screws to pull out the panel around the parking brake. This needs to be removed to get to the screws that hold down the bezel around the radio and shifter. If you look very closely, you can see two narrow strips that run vertically on each end of the radio face. These are actually plastic cover plates that can be pried off. When they come off, you'll see the holes for the radio removal tools. Insert the tools, flex them away from each other, and you can slide the radio out the front of the dash.
