comp. was hit by lightning so it crashed, and lost everything and had to geta new cpu, a computer says he pput our stuff on a disc and put it back, butits not here, so is their anyway to get my songs back!!!!!

cuz if not i'm so mad, at this dude.

Unless you have them on your ipod probably not. It's probably a good idea to make a back up of the songs you download from Mac and other websites. When you are downloading songs on your ipod you also have the option to burn the Mac converted music onto CDs you you won't loose it.

I have heard, but do not know for certain that if you download itunes again, than plug your ipod in it should ask if you want to load songs back onto itunes. I have no idea for certain, other than going to ipods website and asking the question or calling a store and asking. Good luck!

If the hard drive was formatted over then they are gone from the drive, but iTunes keeps track of the songs you have purchased, i am pretty sure. Try emailing itunes support and see if they can just let you redownload the songs, since you already paid for them
