Yes they are edible, they are actually FULL of calcium and very good for you

As far as I'm concerned, all bones are edible. But if you want them salmon bones to be easy to eat, cook the salmon by slowly boiling it over low heat for at least a couple of hours. The bones will become soft and easily eaten and digestible.
My favorite recipe is to put the salmon in a large pot with a little water and sliced daikon radish, and heat in over a very slow flame, covered. No salt needed. If the fire is small enough, the mixture won't dry out and you'll get this tender salmon swimming in its own juices (plus flavor from the radish). Preferably use a heavy pot that retains the heat such as those made from cast iron or clay.

In canned salmon yes but it is better to pick the spine bones out.

Yup - just mix them right in when making salmon patties or casserole they are super soft and you won't even notice they are there.

yes they are but im sure if there poky then ull take them out...but u can eat bones from fish
