Has to be Tiswas, it blew the sanitised Swap Shop out of the water. It was the only thing worth getting out of bed for at 10.30 Sat morning.
I always felt the BBC show was more aimed at families who would appear on "Ask The Family" (remember that!)

I watched Swap Shop most of the time (I had a crush on Maggie Philbin) but later switched to Tiswas as it was more fun!

TISWAS!! (I think it stood for Today Is Saturday Wakeup And Smile) - I loved that programme!!!!! But I did watch Swap Shop when my favourite popstars were on - does anyone remember the little dinosaur toy Posh Paws that sat on the shelf behind Noel Edmonds?
Tiswas was just brilliant - and I think I was allowed to watch it cause I think my dad fancied Sally James.......

Tiswas every time. I nonetheless dream of Sally James interior the variety of clothing she wore on the instruct and stars like Lenny Henry and Chris Tarrant does no longer have become such family individuals individuals names without it. the place replaced into Swapshop's Phantom Flanflinger or Bucketeers? The BBC could no longer locate an answer to Spit the dogs till the days of Gordon the Gopher
