They need to go home. I mean, come on! They're here illegally. If they come here legally and learn how to speak at least SOME English, then that's fine. If you're here illegally, you're breaking the law.

If you go around the US... and see the roads the people and almost everything. But not the city parts but the rural areas- Sorry but Mexico is a FREE country- their Government system is a Republic.. just like us... and I am going to feel bad for Poor Americans first before I start feeling bad for Mexicans...Believe it or not in the US there are poor people, people that fall on hard times, people that struggle to feed, clothe, shelter, and have medical insurance for their kids.. and government help doesn't always work.. the wrong people get the help and the right people don't... so look around for yourself

I honestly don't have a problem with them. All I see are hard working people. Which is more than I can say about some Americans.

People get so upset about these so called "illegal" immigrants. Why? What makes you so legal? Just because you were born here? This country was founded by people who came over here uninvited. They stole this land from the Native Americans. I think it's the ultimate in hypocrisy that we now think it's wrong for people to come here when that is EXACTLY what people did in the beginning. Is that fair?

You reap what you sow. Just as the Europeans invaded this land, we now have Mexicans invading it now. How is this unjust? It is the chickens coming home to roost. The funny thing is, a lot of Mexicans have Indian blood, so it's fitting that they are "coming home."

I have been an immigrant to 2 countries Spain and Mexico. Spain where I was born, my parents went throught the proper channels to move to Mexico when I was 10. Then I came to the US through school and work (visa sponsor). I am currently a legal resident.

I came through the proper channels from Mexico. So here's what I think.

I can understand why people leave Mexico. If your poor you have no way for your children to be educated it is only for the middle class and rich. There are no jobs for those who are uneducated or have basic skills. So these people leave.

However I think that it sound be done legally though. Life is a lot easier if it is done through the proper channels. You save yourself alot trouble. If people would come here legally they would know how the system works here, not be abused by employeers. Not to mention they would of earned it by going through the proper channels.

It doesn't matter where they come from. There are laws and those laws should be followed. I followed the law and came here legally. Or at least those are the vaules my family has taught me being themselves immigrants.

THEY ARE ILLEGAL! If I did something illegal I would go to jail. Why should they be rewarded. Send them back and tell them to get to the back of the line, learn English, get an education and try following the laws of the United States, I know I have to (and so does everybody else I know).

I feel coming into this country illegally is wrong....Its our law and it should be respected....However, I understand why these immigrants risk their lives and come here....We are truly a great nation...I am first generation from Mexico....My parents came here, many years ago, when coming here was much easier....They worked hard and did well....Taught me the value of hard work and I have done well too...However, I don't care for all the "Mexican" bashing that goes on in this forum...I hope the majority of Americans don't feel this hateful towards Mexicans....We are just here, for the same reasons all other immigrants come to this country....And I feel very ostracized at times and sadden to see all the hate speech that goes on, on this forum....It has really made me question fairness and equality in this country....

A prime example, the poster above me....^^^^^
I don't feel much hope for this country when I hear statements like this....AND THE ONE BELOW ME TOO! :(

To come here legally and contribute to the country in a positive way is great.
To come here illegally (criminally) is wrong. Being illegal makes a lot of problems for the legals and disrespects those who did come the legal way.

they should go back so that the US would have more open jobs and spaces for the legals to enter, and so that the people who are sponsoring someone to come here legally can get accepted and their relative can come here.

There are three classes of immigrant people. There are those who come to this country prepared to ork for what they desire and need. Then, there are those who come here and are prepared to commit any crime necessary to get what they want. Those kind, we don't need here. There's another class, I guess, those who just want to strap on a bomb and get to the virgins in heaven waiting for them. Those who work hard and try to support themselves and their families are assets.
