Since molds are caused by spores that are in the air all the time, you are already ingesting or inhaling them, so no need to get overly concerned. UNLESS you have been specifically found to be mold sensitive, or if you are immunocompromised (for example: HIV positive), then common bread molds will merely taste bad, and will not cause problems. If you can't afford more bread, you will be fine: just clean it off as best you can, you needn't even toast it -- though that does give both the nose and the mind comfort.
Not really relavent to this discussion, but unlike what someone mentioned above: mold and bacteria are vastly different things.

Yes, the mold which you can see is on the surface.
But it is supported by mycelium or roots in the bread.
While some molds are beneficial, you cannot be sure.
Better that you cut away the affected portion entirely;-}
than take the risk of developing an internal problem.

Yes, it will. The "mold" part of the bread is a result of where bacteria has been forming for days. The rest of the bread has harmful bacteria brewing, but you won't be able to see the mold for a bit. If you eat it you're risking giving yourself food poisoning (NOT fun).

If it's just a light mold, then sure...pick it off and eat it. If the bread starts to smell sour, then watch out.

If you want to and you son't care about getting grossed out, then do it. I'm sure you won't get sick.; Plenty of people eat moldy food all of the time and are fine. I would never do it because it just really grosses me out.

Eat the moldy bread then you will get a free trip to the hospital and you can stop at the store on your way home and get some new bread.

Don't eat it.
Go to the store and get fresh or borrow some from a neighbor.
It's gone bad and you could get sick.
