You'll hate my answer. 13 is to young to not only have a serious boyfriend but a ring should not even be in your near future. Enjoy your life. You have so much to experience in your future. You shouldn't be thinking of those things right now. Good luck!

A little weird. If you do, get a cheap promise ring. Guys at your age though don't like commitment that much. There was this couple at my school that lasted for 3 years.....scary. Good luck!

Depends on what kind of ring and where from. if its a diamond or some beautiful jewel, then no, its not ok. but if its something from a teenage jewelery store like equip or diva, then its fine.

omg you are only 13 for gods sake give it time you have your whole life ahead of you . that is why there is such a high divorce rate these days cause kids getting married too young . this is not the 1800 's we live alot longer now . good luck and please give it time .

you're 13!!!!!! i don't even need to explain much. you're not even old enough to get married legally. wait a year, you won't feel the same, nor do i think you'll even be talking to him anymore. you'll want to date around, you're not near mature enough for marriage. slow down, you're moving way too fast in your life, the best years are to come shortly.

k...well...its not like its ur engagement ring! its fine...u could just call it...like a committment ring! even then, if he gets u a ring, u could just stick it on a chain and wear it around ur neck, so its not so different for u.
