No mate, not even in the Aussie sense, but nothing that one of my good friends says would irk me. Which I guess is why we are friends. The only constant thing that annoys me here is the response to a question about an ancient 'event' in the Bible, "I don't know, I wasn't there."

My wife is constantly spending money we don't have. It seems like whenever we pay off a bill, a month later we have another much larger bill in its place.

Recently--in the course of a single afternoon--she replaced our couch and loveseat, as well as our coffee table and end tables. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the ones we already had. I shudder when wondering what's next.

I must say, however, that her good qualities far, far outweigh any annoyances I have. I just wish she'd learn to be content with what we have... at least long enough for us to finish paying for it all.

At the moment he isn't lol he is not home. He comes home and no peace in him. He snores so loud knocked out my hearing in one ear really bad. I lost 65% of my hearing. He is so full of anger it is hard to see the joy. We have no sex but once a year. He tosses his clothing all over the house. Wont help in the yard. I hand wash clothing. I do everything but wipe his butt. I wouldn't mind if I felt the love. He complaines all the time about how he hurts, oh my back, my legs, oh my hand, I have a headack, my eyes hurt, I can't breath, and he always say.. will you just..askes whats wrong then rubs the hurt in...ohh did you just want one thing..

He is pathologically unable to deposit his dirty clothes in the hamper.. He makes a pile on the bathroom floor and leaves it.. I have tried putting the hamper in the area he makes the pile.. Nope the clothes were in a pile next to it.. I removed the hamper lid (maybe that barrier was impeeding the entry of clothes) .... pile still next to the hamper..

In 10.8 years of marriage I haven't been able to get him to put the clothes in the hamper.... At least I broke him of the dirty socks under the bed habit so I am ok living with the irritating hamperphobia he exhibits...

My mate, well she reminds me that I'm a lazy bastard.
My friend, being my mate, does the same.

It's two against one really. How am I to ever get any peace and quiet on the couch?

Oh my gosh...it's gross. For some reason, my husband will flush the toilet before he's finished peeing. I don't know why, it's like he's amused by peeing into the swirling water or something. The problem is, sometimes the toilet finishes flushing and starts to fill up again before he's done peeing. So then we're left with pee-water still in the toilet. It makes me CRAZY. I'm always yelling at him about it.

Mine does the "socks on the floor" thing, too. I refuse to wash them unless they are in the hamper. Quite often he has done his own load of socks....lol. It's the small things that make you go postal, so I refuse to engage.
