I think they should clean up their own backyard before trying attack to capitalism. Obviously, the pay isn't that great at at McDonalds, but I really can't say I know of anyone who wanted to make a career of working there. It is a good job for students, retired folks, and such. Plus I do think they give the upper level employees stock options if they have worked there long enough:

They are just trying to buff up their own piety as usual and draw attention away from the effeminate priests who are interested in grooming young boys.
t were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. - Luke 17:2.
Aint it the truth.

No.
The Church is primarily a spiritual body. But she is also a moral teacher with the freedoms of speech and religion and has been teaching the world what it believes God thinks is right and wrong for almost 2,000 years.
The Church looks to protect human dignity and human rights and does not for look for political power. Church leaders are barred from political office by Church law (not civil law).
Jesus said, "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:18-20)
The Catholic Church has been teaching the world what it believes is right and wrong since the ancient Romans stopped persecuting it and long before anyone heard of the freedom of speech.
The Catholic Church protested about the blood sports in the Roman Colosseum and they were stopped.
The Catholic Church supported the Polish Solidarity movement and the Soviet Union fell apart.
I don't think the Church is going to (or should) stop teaching the world what is right or wrong now.
Remember the Catholic Church proposes. It does not impose.
With love in Christ.

If the Catholic Church observes what it believes to be a moral injustice - and does nothing. . . How will that do any good?

they basically take care of their flock :).
you can see it as altruistic, being nice to the congregation.
or you can be cynical and think that with better wages they'll be able to give better tithes to the church.
who knows...
