I remember reading once, a while ago, something like that but I can't remember where.

I can't think of any greek writers using that particular Summerian myth (but it is definately possible. Hermes is said to have confused languages... and they borrowed many myths from various cultures, such as the Babylonian Pyramus and Thisbe (i.e. Romeo and Juliette)).
