That's why we become Christian......Christ died for our sins...........If you follow Him you are forgiven
You won't go to hell
.
.
what you say though IS true for people who do not accept Him.......and become Christians
Christ says that by following Him does NOT mean you will have an easy life.....on the contrary, He says you WILL be persecuted............Heck...look at all the people in here trying to pick fights with Christians.
But in about 100 years or so, I suspect many people will be saying........WHY DIDN'T I LISTEN????????.......

You can ask God forgiveness all day long and it doesnt make it past the ceiling. At first God's ear is only opened to the sinners prayer.
Salvation consists of (1) Accepting the Death, The Burial and Resurrection of Jesus for your sins. Then, (2) Confessing you are a sinner, (3) Repenting which means to turn away from, and (3) then asking for Forgiveness.
You cant have Forgiveness without Repenting. And you cant do either, or have a result of either, without Jesus.
A person will stand before the judgment to give an account for the things they did in the flesh be they good or evil.
The lake of fire is for those who have never accepted Jesus!
The things we do in the flesh that people call sin, is, in reality, the "fruits" of the sin nature.
As Jesus said; A Good "tree" can not bring forth corrupt fruit. And neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
PS: The "tree" is the sin nature. The things we do in the flesh that is called sin, is the result of a sinful heart. In Matthew 15:18-19 Jesus says; But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
For out of the "heart" proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
All humanity is born into the world with a "spiritual" sinful "heart" condition.
And it takes the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of God, to change this heart condition.
Without the "changing of the heart" repentance and asking for forgiveness is a deception tool of Satan. If it is done without accepting Christ.
Why is it so hard to live for Jesus? Because of a change in hearts condition, the mind still wars after the things of the flesh. That why Jesus said we are to deny self daily, and take up our cross and follow him. He didnt say it would be easy. But he did say, he would see us through! But only if we believe and accept him.

We've all done a lot of things wrong , yeah and we all deserve Hell .
But Jesus came and on the cross He took all the punishment that we deserve for our sins (all the and stuff we've ever done) . Therefore all we have to do is believe and follow Him and we will be saved .
Its like being in court , knowing you've committed a crime , all the evidence is there against you and the judge passes sentence and tells you have to pay £100 000 fine or spend life in jail. Then someone you don't know steps out, comes in and out of there own pocket pays the fine for you.
John 3:16
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
The forgiveness and salvation Jesus offers is forever . His blood covers all our sin . We just have to walk with Him.

If a believer commits a sin then regrets it and stops it and intends never to do it again and it had was not a violation to a human or leaving out an obligation, that sin would be forgiven and that person will not be punished for that on Judgment Day.

when you repent to God in the name of Jesus, and you are forgiven, your sins are cast to the bottom of the sea to NEVER be brought up to you again. Judgement and hell are for the demons, spirits, and souls who do not repent.
as for easy living, Jesus said if they hate the Father, how much more will they hate the Son? to set a Christ example, is to be very unpopular. Read the book of Luke.

If God did not send people to hell, he would be self contradictory. He has to punish the wrong doing of others which have hurt others. If you are a real Christian, meaning you truelly believe in Jesus Christ as your savior, your sins will automatically be forgiven.

flow to the father with the aid of Jesus. recognize that Jesus took your sin for you on the flow. you would be forgiven, yet God does no longer get rid of the outcomes of your sin-you will experience undesirable. Sin nonetheless has outcomes on an identical time as quickly as we are forgiven. in spite of the undeniable fact that it is reliable information you're forgiven! God bless..

Judgment day does not determine your salvation... By judgment day you will already be going to heaven or hell. Judgment day is to take accountability for the actions and decisions that we decided to make.
You will go to heaven by grace not actions. We all sin, therefor can only go to heaven through the acceptance of his son Jesus Christ. It is hard to live for Jesus, because it is hard to live a life remotely close to the life that he lead...free of sin. As Christians we should want to live as close to Christ as we can, but the temptations around us are so great that it is difficult to live a righteous life.

Well, according to the Catholic Church thinking like that is a sin itself. They call it "despairing in Sin." It is a sin against the Holy Spirit (a "Blasphemy"). You better shape up and take heart because God loves you.

to repent means to turn away from ......so if u have believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and Saviour.... your name is then written in the Lambs book of life....if u sin and ask for forgiveness u r forgiven ...but dont keep doing the same things....when u let God in he starts to change u.... no one is perfect but God aint dumb either so dont try to play him.... it aint always easy to live a christian life but its worth it
