Well, you can always make them yourself!!
ORIGINAL GIRL SCOUT COOKIES
2 sticks butter, softened and cut into chunks
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2-1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
Sugar for sprinkling (opt)
In a mixing bowl (by hand if you want to be authentic), cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition Add milk and vanilla and beat until light and fluffy. Combine flour and baking powder and gradually add this to creamed mixture. Now you’ll have to chill this before rolling out (normally you can roll most cookies out between two pieces of clear wrap or two permanent baking mats like I’m using which are available at The Great Indoors and which eliminate any greasing of cookie sheets, and then refrigerate them before cutting out, but this dough is simply too soft to do that) and that will take anywhere from 2 to 24 hours. Roll out on a lightly floured surface about 1/4" thick. Cut and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sugar if you like. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 8-10 minutes (8 for a softer cookie; 10 for a more crisp cookie). Cool on wire racks. Makes about 4 dozen 2-1/2" cookies.
THIN MINT COOKIES
1 pkg. chocolate chips
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 pkg. Townhouse crackers
1-2 drops peppermint extract
Wax paper
In medium size saucepan, melt chocolate over low heat. When chocolate is just melted, add oil, mix and add peppermint; stir. Remove from heat. Using a fork, drop crackers in chocolate (one at a time), turn cracker to cover. Place on waxed paper and place in refrigerator or freezer until chocolate hardens.

I always buy Girl Scout cookies, I can't wait! I used to be a Girl Scout when I was a kid, so I know that the count hasn't gone down. I don't think the cost has gone up very much either; if I remember right, boxes went for $3 when I sold them in the late eighties and early nineties and I think they're $4 or $4.50 now. Anyway, my favorite kind is the peanut-butter patties, AKA Tagalongs.

Call your local Girl Scout service center (listed in your yellow pages under Girl Scouts), and ask if there are any troop leaders who have cookies in their freezers, garages, attics, trunks, crawlspaces, bedroom closet, etc. There are usually pallets of cookies that were bought but never sold lurking around everywhere.

I'm pretty sure you can't ... and it is all an evil plot to keep me away from a regular fix of caramel delights!

I'm not sure about that but you can go to http://www.girlscoutcookies.org/ and enter your zipcode and find out when they are coming around again.
